Fiji enjoys an extremely pleasant tropical climate, typical of the South Seas. Visitors from most regions will find the weather perennially warm. Rainy season is high season for tourism. From around May to October the climate is cooler and drier, although you can still expect the occasional storm or cloudburst of heavy rain.

Best Places to visit in Fiji.

Suva:- Fiji’s largest island and capital city still retains the charm of the bygone colonial era and the present modernization. It is also home to numerous shops selling Fijian artifacts, restaurants, gardens and parks. Suva boasts the best nightlife’s, the best value shopping and real sense that you are exploring the culture of a great Pacific nation.

Nadi:- Vibrant street markets are colourful introduction to Fijian daily life. Shops and stalls sell the bright bula shirts or grass skirts to get you dressed like a local. Most resorts in Fiji are located on Nadi. For sights in Nadi town, Fiji’s largest temple, the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple is probably the pick of the bunch.

Coral Coast:- The Queens Road begins roughly 20km south of Nadi and loops its way southwards through beautiful scenery and traditional villages through the area known as the Coral Coast. The Coral Coast is heavily dotted with hotels, resorts and backpacker retreat like no other region in Fiji and a haven for the adventurous or for those who simply want a bit of sun, sand and fun.

Yasawa Islands:- The beautiful collection of volcanic islands to the northwest of Viti Levu remains a hidden secret to many a Fijian visitors. Further away and slightly harder to get to than the nearby Mamanucas, this archipelago boasts of beautiful beaches, coral seas and coconut tree fringed coastline.

Mamanuca Island:- This small group of tiny, perfectly formed islands is arguably what earned Fiji its reputation as a slice of Eden cast adrift in the Pacific Ocean. It is here, just a short boat ride away from the transit hub of Nadi, where you can pick your island and be sure of glorious white sands to laze upon and emerald seas in which to snorkel.
